This is the home page of Carol Manns, MAPS, FCCLP, FCFP – ENDORSEMENTS IN CLINICAL & FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Carol specialises in forensic and neuropsychological assessments and reports. She has a Master of Psychology degree and recognised as a clinical and forensic psychologist with over 18 years experience in the field. Trained in evidence based best practice protocols: Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and a Practice Certificate in Sleep Psychology. Carol currently works in private practice & primarily focuses on neuropsychological assessments for both children and adults especially in the assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual functioning, executive functioning, memory deficits, learning disorders and ADHD. She also assesses cognitive decline, dementia and neurocognitive disorders. Carol specialises in forensic assessments and reports for court, including PRE-SENTENCING REPORTS, FAMILY LAW REPORTS, COGNITIVE FUNCTIONING ASSESSMENTS and FITNESS TO STAND TRIAL. Carol also has a particular interest in the Law & is studying a Law degree part-time (Juris Doctor). She is an approved NDIS and Medicare provider. Carol is also a Psychology Board-approved supervisor and approved Registrar Program Principal Supervisor for Forensic Endorsement. Carol is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish. Qualifications: BPsych, PostGrad Diploma (Psychology), Master of Psychology (Forensic). Carol graduated from her Master of Psychology Degree with Distinction and was on the Dean's merit list for academic excellence. She is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society for academic excellence. Carol is a Member of The Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), a Fellow, APS College of Clinical Psychologists (FCCLP), Fellow, APS College of Forensic Psychologists (FCFP), and Member of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law (ANZAPPL).
